Facials during the summer months

Skin Boosters

Skinbusters gradually deeply moisturize the skin and improve its elastic properties. They can be used for both women and men, while the treatment areas cover the skin of the face, lips, neck, décolleté, and hands.

Before starting the procedure, the injection site can be locally anesthetized with an anesthetic cream. Through a thin needle, the product is applied to the level of the dermis to moisturize the skin and correct wrinkles. The effect is visible immediately after its execution. After the procedure, there may be mild discomfort in the form of redness, itching, soreness, or bruising at the injection site, which usually disappears after 1-2 days.

Usually, it is necessary to carry out 3-5 procedures, and the effect lasts for about six months. Skinbusters are used in combination with fillers, mesotherapy, Botox, etc.

Botox

Applications of botulinum toxin (Botox) are a non-surgical method for the treatment of mimic wrinkles in the facial area (forehead, around the eyes, between the eyebrows) and some other areas of the face. It is a neurotoxin from the bacteria Clostridium Botulinum.

With the introduction of botulinum toxin into the area of facial muscles, it becomes impossible to voluntarily contract the muscles of the face, as a result of reversible blocking of the conduction of nerve impulses to the muscles. Botox is injected only into dynamic wrinkles, which are formed during muscle contraction and the expression of various emotions – joy, anger, surprise. Examples of these are horizontal wrinkles on the forehead, evil wrinkles between the eyebrows, crow’s feet wrinkles around the eyes, wrinkles on the neck, and décolleté.

Before the procedure, it is assessed whether the age of the patient is suitable for botulinum toxin injection. The area to be treated can be anesthetized with an anesthetic cream, and the face can be drawn and marked with dots where the botulinum toxin should be injected. Thus, the corresponding muscle group relaxes and the maximum effect is achieved. A neurotoxin blocks the transmission of a nerve impulse from a neuron to a muscle fiber.

After the procedure, the injection sites should not be massaged or pressed; during the first 4 hours, you should not lie down and tilt your head. For at least 72 hours, you can not use cosmetics and procedures, as well as drink alcohol. The duration of the effect depends on the type of muscle, the effect usually lasts from 4 to 6 months. With each subsequent application, the effect is 1 year.

Fillers

Dermal fillers can be used as a non-surgical method for smoothing out wrinkles, and pits, filling bags under the eyes, shaping the cheekbones, lip augmentation and contouring, and smoothing scars.

There are two main groups of dermal fillers – natural and synthetic. Fillers made up of natural products, mainly hyaluronic acid, have a much lower risk of causing an allergic reaction. The effect is instantaneous, and the duration is from six months to a year. Hyaluronic acid breaks down in the body over time, so care is needed.

Before placing the filler, a consultation with a dermatologist is necessary, who evaluates the required amount and depth of application to achieve the desired result. After that, an anesthetic cream is applied, after which the essence of the procedure follows – the introduction of a dermal filler.

The duration varies from a few minutes depending on the number of treated areas. After the manipulation, the effect is immediately visible, since there may be bruises and swelling at the injection site, which disappears after a few days. Patients return to their daily activities without the need for a recovery period.

In cases where fillers are not enough for a given correction, they can be combined with Botox, peeling, and laser procedures to achieve the best result.

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy can be performed on patients of any age. During puberty, it is used to combat acne or acne scars. After 20 years, you can start this type of procedure to moisturize the skin, and fight pigmentation and the earliest signs of photoaging.

Manipulation is practically painless and causes slight discomfort. A local anesthetic may be used during the procedure. Facial mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure, a complex of beneficial minerals and amino acids is introduced through multiple injections that are delivered to the mesoderm. At the site of the bite, a small bump (papule) is formed, which completely disappears within a day. The result is a strengthening improvement of elasticity and appearance of the skin, and smoothing of small wrinkles. Facial skin looks younger and fresher.

The duration of the procedure is about 20-30 minutes, depending on the area being treated. The procedure improves blood circulation, increases metabolism, restores skin elasticity, and effectively rejuvenates it by stimulating the production of elastin and collagen. Adverse reactions are possible in the form of redness and slight swelling in the treatment area, itching, and burning, which disappear within a few hours to 1-2 days.

Contraindications to the procedures are pregnancy and lactation, infections in the treatment area, and allergies to some ingredients. Depending on the condition of the skin and the current problem, the dermatologist evaluates which substances are most appropriate to introduce and which types of procedures to combine for natural and beautiful skin.
